Empowering Voices: The 2024 Vulnerable Widows Program
We are thrilled to share the impact of our Vulnerable Widows Empowerment Program in Imo State, Nigeria. Organised in proud partnership with a dedicated GHBN trustee and her organisation, the Society for Widows and Orphans, this initiative brought life-changing support to women facing immense hardship.
Thanks to the grace of God and the incredible generosity of our global community, we raised nearly 1 million Naira (approximately £500) from supporters in the UK in 2024.
Your donations were put directly into action, enabling us to provide nearly 40 widows with:
Essential Sustenance: Raw food staples (including rice) to take home, alongside freshly cooked meals and refreshments during the event.
Direct Financial Aid: Cash disbursements was given to help them meet immediate, critical needs.
Tools for the Future: Informative, practical sessions focused on financial independence and drug prevention awareness was delivered.

Building Digital Bridges: Highlights from Our First London, UK - Youth IT Workshop – July 2025
Our first-ever free Youth IT Training Workshop in London (July 2025) was a phenomenal success! Focused on coding technology, this milestone event brought together passionate young people eager to unlock the "superpower" of digital innovation and set themselves on a path toward thriving tech careers.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to all the amazing young participants who attended, brought incredible energy, and took a vital stepping stone toward their brighter futures.

Hands-On Coding Session: Led by our brilliant guest tutor—an experienced Head of Computer Science with over 20 years in education—who delivered a foundational, high-impact introduction to coding technology.
Industry Expert Panel & Q&A: An inspiring afternoon session where youth connected directly with IT professionals, gaining real-world career insights and valuable mentorship.
Networking & Resources: The day concluded with interactive networking and the distribution of free takeaway resources to support the participants' ongoing training journeys and there was snacks to eat.
